HOWTO Install Google Earth 5.0 Beta

Google Earth 5.0 Beta - (over Ubuntu 8.04) Powerfull over Linux!

1.-New features:

2.-Download package

Package: GoogleEarthLinux.bin
From console:

root@server:/home/wmunguiam/Escritorio# wget http://dl.google.com/earth/client/current/GoogleEarthLinux.bin

3.-Change Permissionsto execute it

root@server:/home/wmunguiam/Escritorio# chmod +x GoogleEarthLinux.bin
root@server:/home/wmunguiam/Escritorio# ls -l
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 25338751 2009-02-03 08:56 GoogleEarthLinux.bin

4.-Run installer

root@server:/home/wmunguiam/Escritorio# ./GoogleEarthLinux.bin

5.-Run GoogleEarth 5.0!

root@server:/home/wmunguiam/Escritorio# googleearth
